This past weekend was spent in NY for AfroPunk and it was ..amazing. I’ve heard the hype about how AfroPunk is not worth going, just a big marketing scheme. But any event presenting artists like Erykah Badu, Mos Def, and Janelle Monae..for free? Sign me up. I always have a good time in NY, but this visit was particularly enticing. Just an eye opener of how much more there...
